Single axis tracker, in which there is only one rotation axis, changes the position angle of the PV panel to maximize the intensity of the sunlight, thus improving the photovoltaic conversion rate.
Single-axis trackers have only one moving axis, usually aligned with North and South. This allows the solar panels to rotate from east to west, tracking the sun as it rises and sets, travels across the sky.
Single-axis trackers cost less than dual-axis trackers, and potentially offer more reliability and longer lifespan as they have fewer moving parts. Compared with the traditional fixed type, it can increase the generating capacity by 20%~30%.
